Dr. Dorothy Rachovides
Dorothy received  her PhD in Computer Science – Human computer Interaction from Lancaster University in 2004. She has held research fellowships in the area of Interaction Design at Brunel University, where she was funded by Microsoft Research and the University of Surrey, where she was a member of the Digital World Research Centre.
In the past, she has designed and developed e-learning material and interactive marketing applications for advertising campaigns in Greece.  She has taught seminars in Computing in Greece and for several years was a member of the Computing faculty at the American College of Greece – Deree College where she taught undergrad level students. She is a member of the ACM, has authored a number of academic papers published in scientific  journals and presented her work in prominent conferences.
Currently, as well as being the co-founder and Program Coordinator for the A40s, she is participating in Google’s project “Euphonia”.

Ioanna Markou
Ioanna studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and has since embarked on her career in the field of Communications Management. She has worked for more than 20 years in the private sector, in both Greek and multinational companies. Becoming a mother changed her view of the world and led her seeking to create a better future for all, as a member of the European civil society. Ioanna has been involved in the implementation of more than 50 European projects and has led numerous national communication campaigns, both online and offline, promoting Human Rights, Social Research and Education.
She is currently working as a Senior Communications Consultant for private companies and NGOs. At the same time, she is engaged at her new initiative, the Association of Women over 40 – The A40s, combating gendered ageism in Europe.

 


Aggeliki Konstantinidi
Aggeliki studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She began her career at the Athens court rooms, then moved on to the position of Program Coordinator for European funded programs in multinational companies. A milestone in her career was the decision to open her own business. Currently, she lives in Chania, Crete and divides her time between Athens and Crete, working as a Legal Advisor.
